Rev. William R. Cordes, Pastor of Leadership
Pastor Bill came to Metea Baptist Church in November, 2007, as Pastor of Family Ministries, and transitioned into the Pastor of Leadership role at the end of 2008.  Bill is originally from Seymour, Ind., where he was married to his wife, Adele Benbrook, in 1977.  They have two children, Bill A. and Susan, and a daughter-in-law, Beth Mayes Cordes.  They are also proud grandparents of Ally, Brianna and Dylan.  Pastor Bill is a graduate of Lindsey Wilson University, Campbellsville University and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He served five other American Baptist Churches in Indiana over a span of twenty years before coming to Metea.  From his youth Bill served twenty years as a camp counselor and camp director at Indian Creek Baptist Camp.  Bill has been very impressed with the WOW program at Metea Baptist and the number of children and youth the church ministers to.  He is also grateful for the congregation's willingness to try new things.

Rev. Nathan R. Brooks, Pastor of Family Ministries
Pastor Nathan began serving as Pastor of Family Ministries at Metea Baptist Church on January 7, 2009.  Nathan and his lovely wife Liz reside in Logansport, Indiana.  He is originally from Greencastle, Indiana, while Liz hails from Westerville, Ohio.  Nathan ('05) and Liz ('06) both graduated from Taylor University in Upland, Indiana, and were married in June, 2006.  They moved to Cass County from Wilmore, Kentucky, after Nathan completed his studies at Asbury Theological Seminary, where Liz worked in the Admissions Office.  Liz and Nathan really love the people here at Metea Baptist and enjoy serving the Lord together.

Teresa Hinkle, Church Secretary

 I came to Metea Baptist Church when I married James Hinkle in 1998.  I graduated from Ivy Tech with a Associate Degree in Administrative Office Technology and from IU Kokomo with a Paralegal Certificate. It is a wonderful church full of loving and caring people. I became secretary in 2005. It is a great job. We are the proud parents of Noah.
